BUSINESS SUMMARY
The company founder, Anton Otrusina (“Tony”), was born in Borsice, Czechoslovakia in 1913. After working for Brookfield Leather Goods Company, he opened A. W. Enterprises in 1962 and produced 2-Way Radio cases for the MOTOROLA Corporation.
His son Ed took over the corporation in 1984 allowing his father to enjoy retirement and continue on the Board of Directors for advice and expertise.
In 1986, Ed began patenting attachment devices which revolutionized the industry. Today, the AWedge™ is being used in all areas where 2-Way communications is imperative.
Our office and manufacturing facility is located in Bedford Park, Illinois. The 28,000 square feet of space houses all the design, manufacturing and executive administration of the company.
